Local Investing YYC’s investment strategy is centred on impact. It’s a core principle of cooperatives and an investment approach that has been around for many decades. In this blog post, we look to answer some questions on what impact investing is and why it matters
From Shopping Carts to Sustainable Hearts
Destructive consumer industries threaten our planet, meanwhile circular and sustainable solutions are shifting the status quo. The consumer industry has thrived on a take, make and waste economy that has pushed our planetary boundaries to the limit, and this panel will explore a wide range of sustainable solutions including topics around the circular economy, supply chains, and trends in consumer behaviours. We'll speak to experts that are using technology to develop novel materials, advanced manufacturing practices, and enhanced supply chain logistics to build a more regenerative economy. There is enormous potential to be unlocked this decade through sustainable consumer technology solutions and this is an opportunity to hear from local industry experts on how they are tackling these global challenges and creating profits too!
